We are only catching our breath after a busy few days at Showcase 2023, Ireland’s creative expo which takes place every year in the RDS in Dublin. We launched our new "Liberties" collection at Showcase and we were honoured and thrilled to take home the Sustainability Award for the table lamp in this new collection. The Liberties collection is inspired by the historical district of the same name in Dublin which was home to Ireland's largest brewing district. Rosemary Steen, C

There are not many things that can claim association with Harry Potter, the Druids and Shakespeare, yet the yew tree can claim all of this and more. The yew is a truly fascinating tree with a long history in Ireland, said to date back to the last major ice age . It has long been considered a sacred tree by both druids and Christians in Ireland and its association with death and rebirth has given it a special place in Irish culture and history.
